Service Details
Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is an advanced additive manufacturing technology developed by HP, using high-performance nylon materials such as PA12, PA11, and TPU. It is ideally suited for functional prototypes and small batch production of precision components requiring strength, accuracy, and consistency.
The process uses a fine-grained powder and thin layer deposition (typically 80 microns / 0.08 mm), enabling excellent detail resolution and dimensional accuracy across complex geometries.
Material Performance
Compared to traditional laser sintering processes, MJF parts offer:
- Higher density and lower porosity
- Improved mechanical performance and durability
- More uniform material properties across the part
- Smooth surface finish directly from the build process
As a result, components typically require minimal post-processing, reducing lead times and production costs
Key Benefits
- High accuracy and repeatability
- Excellent mechanical properties (PA12 / PA11 / TPU)
- Reduced lead times compared to traditional manufacturing
- Cost-effective small batch production
Applications
- Functional prototypes and validation parts
- Small batch production of end-use components
- Automotive and industrial parts
- Enclosures, housings, and mechanical assemblies
- Flexible components (TPU) and lightweight structures
Additive 3D Printing
Industrial Production Capability
Our production capacity is based on multiple industrial MJF systems, ensuring:
- Fast turnaround times
- Consistent part quality across batches
- Scalable production for low to medium volumes
This makes MJF an efficient solution for both rapid prototyping and end-use parts.
